Dina Meyer was born within Forest Hills Queens New York. When she was finishing her junior year, she relocated from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Her siblings include one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling known as Evan. When she was between the ages of 9 to 16, her first exposure to the business world was when she first began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who studied in this way and so were Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. Her first performance came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. Within the following few months, she got the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge for nearly all stunts and proved herself to be an accomplished actor. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to land a regular role in the show Friends.
