Mary's also well-known for her role in the reality series Storage Wars Texas. Mary Padian, who is often referred to as The Junkyard Queen or The Junkster is well-known for her extensive antique collection sourced from various auctions storage units and estate auctions. Mary's professional career started when she earned her degree as a photojournalist in Architectural Digest, under the directorship of Paige Rense. Then in her latter years Mary created her own webpage called Mary Finds. In this section, videos were shared on ways you can improve and beautify your house. Following her return to Texas she started a business under her same name that is a specialist in antiques. A&E Television producers spotted her while she ran her antiques business and offered her the opportunity to appear involved in Texas"storage wars" Storage Wars. This series ran for three seasons. Because of her popularity her appearance on the show, she was a part of the first Storage Wars' fifth season. Storage Wars season 5 was her first appearance.
