Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and performer who was born in New York City, the city of New York, on November 22nd in 1984. Her performances have earned her acclaim across a wide range of genres including the genres of period dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson was the child of a film director and an architect. She was raised by New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. When she was a child she discovered a love for performing and started making commercial auditions around the age seven. Her interest in acting grew quickly, and she was immediately in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. At the age of eight old, Johansson starred alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in Off-Broadway productions. And at age nine her debut film was Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson subsequently starred on the screen in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough occurred with Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters who run away. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an incredibly tragic accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. This award-winning actor was a part of the main cast. Besides appearing on the series she also has a successful stage actor. She has given stunning performances in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her professional career in entertainment from a very young age. As a child she was captivated by acting. Smith's parents helped her with landing her first acting role when she was just six. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. In the same way as numerous young actresses, she began her professional career in the theatre. As she was making her stage debut in Wildflower she would also work in various projects throughout the USA. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
