Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney came from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father was a writer. Her mother, Romulus Linney was a writer. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
